JTB VPLayer Tools Trial
Win32 and 64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Here's a tutorial showing how to use JTB VPLayer Tools using the Sample drawing: JTB VPLayer Tools Test.dwg
First, run JTB_VPSettings and set your preference VPLAYER override linetype and lineweight. In the animation below, they are "Hidden2" and 1 mm.
Look at the first animation: inside the viewport, run the JTB_VPLAYER command, then select lines. Their layers (Layer1, Layer2, and Layer3) will change their Viewport override linetype and lineweight to Hidden2 and 1 mm.
Still, within that viewport, run JTB_VPMA command. Select the source layer in which the viewport override linetype and lineweight are Dashed and 0.00mm. Then select target layers. The target layer's override linetype and lineweight will change to Dashed and 0.00mm.
In the second animation, we are in paper space. Run JTB_VPCLEAR and select viewports. All override linetype and lineweight of all layers in selected viewports will be cleared.
Switch to another viewport, and run JTB_VPCLEAR again. Select layers via selecting objects. Override linetype and lineweight of selected layers will be clear.
Switch to paper space. Run JTB_VPMA and select a viewport as a source object. Then select target viewports. Now we will see JTB_VPMA command matches override linetype and lineweight properties from viewport to viewports.
An interesting feature of JTB_VPMA is it saves the source viewport override linetype and lineweight properties of layers in a text file. Then, if you run it again in other drawings, select the option "Previous" instead of selecting the object, saved properties will be re-used. This feature enables the JTB_VPMA command to work across drawings.
