Beschreibung

Kobi Swept Path is our newest product on the market, and it’s the most user-friendly swept path analysis tool available. Designed to ensure safe and efficient vehicle maneuvering in intersections, roundabouts, parking lots, airports, and more, it offers intuitive workflows, accurate simulations, and real-time adjustments to streamline your analysis. With powerful features for testing various scenarios and optimizing vehicle paths, it helps you make informed decisions quickly. Thanks to its easy-to-use interface and seamless integration with your CAD environment, swept path analysis has never been faster or more accessible.

Vehicle Library: Predefined & Custom Vehicles

Vehicle library offers a variety of predefined vehicle types and trailers. It allows you to edit existing vehicle parameters, create custom vehicles, and define both horizontal and vertical vehicle bodies. With options to configure front and rear axles, steering, and couplings, it provides flexibility for precise vehicle customization.

Simulation Assistant: Easy & Accurate Path Planning

Easily navigate your vehicle using the simulation path tool.

Switch between Forward and Reverse driving modes, adjust speed, and enable features like Preview Path Direction and Turn Wheels on Stop. Configure turning circle calculations and set the minimum allowable turning radius for precise maneuvering.

Path Analysis: Horizontal & Vertical Testing

Simply select a vehicle path and type to perform in-depth horizontal or vertical analyses in seconds.

New: Apply an Offset. In real-world design, vehicles often travel next to design features rather than directly along their centerlines. That’s why Guided Drive now includes the ability to set an offset from the selected alignment. This is useful when simulating vehicle paths along curbs, walls, or striping lines, where clearance and envelope buffer zones must be considered. By applying an offset, you can instantly position the vehicle’s path exactly where it would travel in practice.

Animation: Visualize Movement in Action

Generate animations along the vehicle path, customize animation speed, and position the vehicle stamp at any chosen station.

Simulation Navigator: Centralized Control

Manage all horizontal and vertical analyses in a centralized interface. Generate detailed reports, continue simulations, create animations, and zoom in on specific analyses for greater efficiency.

Real-Time Reporting: Instant Feedback on Steering Angles

Analyze wheel steering angles dynamically with live reporting. Adjust graph scaling effortlessly by clicking and dragging grips to modify the horizontal and vertical scale.

Custom Objects: CAD-Friendly Editing

Swept path analyses are treated as custom objects, allowing easy modifications using standard CAD commands. Edit parameters directly in the Properties palette for fast adjustments.

New in this version: You can now also edit the Envelope Safety Buffer attribute directly within the Properties panel. This user-defined zone is added around the standard swept path envelope to account for additional space a vehicle may require beyond its physical path.

Effective Wheelbase Support: Handle Complex Maneuvers

Enable Effective Wheelbase (EWB) to simulate scenarios where all rear axles are turning, ensuring accurate results for challenging vehicle movements.

Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).

Version 2026.1.31, 03.07.2025
In the latest release, we have added support for the 2026 versions of Autodesk® AutoCAD® and Autodesk® Civil 3D®, ensuring full compatibility with the newest Autodesk platforms. New features: - Envelope safety buffer: a powerful feature that adds a configurable margin around the vehicle swept path, helping designers account for real-world tolerances, variability, and safety standards. - Option to specify offset from selected polyline in Guided Drive: Guided Drive now includes the ability to set an offset from the selected alignment. This is particularly useful when simulating vehicle paths along curbs, walls, or striping lines, where clearance and envelope buffer zones must be considered. By applying an offset, you can instantly position the vehicle’s path exactly where it would travel in practice.
