SectionSync LITE
Descripción
SectionSync LITE is a lightweight AutoLISP-powered automation tool that creates and updates roadway plan sheets by synchronizing paper-space viewports to model-space geometry.
Instead of manually zooming, panning, rotating, and re-scaling each viewport, SectionSync LITE uses VP blocks placed along a roadway centerline to automatically generate and maintain plan sheets:
PLAN-01, PLAN-02, PLAN-03, …
For each sheet, the routine:
• Identifies VP blocks placed along the centerline
• Sorts them by chainage
• Centers the viewports on each VP location
• Rotates the view to match the roadway bearing
• Applies a consistent, predefined scale
• Automatically continues sheet numbering on re-runs
Each PLAN layout uses two paper-space viewports (TOP and BOTTOM).
If an odd number of VP blocks exists, the final sheet is created using the TOP viewport only.
This workflow allows sheets to be regenerated quickly after design changes, improving drafting accuracy, reducing repetitive CAD work, and saving hours on roadway, utility, and civil site plan production.

SectionSync LITE includes a sample DWG to help users get started quickly.
The template contains:
• A VP block
• A sample centerline
• A pre-built PLAN layout with two viewports
The template allows new users to immediately test the workflow and understand how VP blocks, centerlines, and layouts work together with the routine.
