Autodesk® DWG Migration for Docs
Digitally signed app
Description
Autodesk® DWG Migration for Docs provides the technology to upload local project data to Autodesk Construction Cloud® efficiently. It is oriented for projects that intend to use Collaboration for Autodesk® Civil 3D® (which requires Civil 3D 2020.2 or later) or Autodesk® AutoCAD® collaboration workflows (which requires AutoCAD 2022.1 or later).
It provides guidance throughout the whole data migration process including data integrity checks, fixes, and uploading. It enables you to clean up data integrity issues so that the uploading process can be completed successfully and efficiently while keeping files as a single source of truth.
The app uses Desktop Connector functionality to upload the project data from your local storage to the cloud. Desktop Connector version 16.0.0.1902 or later is required.
Not only does it support cleaning up data integrity issues during the migration process to Docs, but Autodesk DWG Migration for Docs V2 now also expands its capabilities to handle projects stored on both Docs and locally, ensuring comprehensive data integrity.
It enables you to clean up data integrity issues for data on Docs so that you can ensure accurate, reliable data for effective design, informed decision-making, and increased productivity in your cloud-based work.
It also supports checking and fixing data integrity issues in local datasets, preparing them for future migration. This new tool is designed to track issues of broken links and circular references. Related data is also reported since they could lead to broken links once the local data is migrated to Docs. The objective of the 'Repair Local Data Integrity Issues' tool is to safeguard data integrity for upcoming migrations.
Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
