The AutoCAD Model Performance Analytics tool is accessible with a Workflow Advisor subscription—please reach out to wa-support@autodesk.com for subscription details and access.
A solution which extracts information from models contained in a collection of DWG files to assess DWG file health and the performance of the model within an Autodesk® AutoCAD® based application session. Supported models within DWG files are AutoCAD, Autodesk® Civil 3D®, Autodesk® AutoCAD® Architecture, Autodesk® AutoCAD® MEP, and Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D™.
This solution is comprised of the following components:
- MS SQL Server database to contain extracted metrics.
- Administration application for configuring the MPA (SQL Server connection string, feature extraction options, and defining the collection of DWGs to extract data from).
- A windows application server for invoking AutoCAD application session for each DWG.
- An AutoCAD application plugin which extracts metrics and populates tables within the SQL Server database.
- Power BI template to analyze the data contained in the SQL Server database.
