MatchAttProp is a high-performance utility designed to copy attribute properties between block references with precision. This tool eliminates the manual effort required to synchronize formatting across complex blocks, allowing you to select a source and apply its properties to multiple targets in one step.

Core Functionality

The app allows you to copy attribute properties, including Layer, Color, Style, Height, and Width Factor. Beyond basic text formatting, it synchronizes geometric data such as Rotation, Justification, and Relative Position to ensure every block in your drawing looks consistent. You also have the option to sync actual text values across matching attribute tags when data consistency is required.

Smart Visibility Filtering

A standout feature is the "Only Visible" filter, which ensures the tool respects your drawing's current visual state. By ignoring hidden attributes, the app protects background metadata from accidental modification, focusing only on the information meant for display.

Technical Optimization

To ensure a professional and stable experience, the app uses a modern architecture that provides natively optimized performance for newer versions of Autodesk® AutoCAD® while maintaining full support for older versions. It is designed to run seamlessly on AutoCAD 2021 through 2026.

General Usage Instructions

1. Launch the Command: Type MATCHATTPROP or use the Ribbon button to open the interface.
2. Select Source: Click the "Pick Block" button and select the block whose attribute properties you want to copy.
3. Set Properties: Use the checkboxes to choose which properties (such as Layer, Style, Position, etc.) should be applied to the target blocks.
4. Apply to Targets: Click "Apply" and select the blocks you want to update. The changes are applied instantly across all selected instances.
