Terrible product, congratulations!
To clarify for anyone reading: the base app is 100% free and always has been. The AI scan is an optional feature using a third-party engine that charges per use; I personally subsidise your first 5 scans as a courtesy. Thousands of users have downloaded this tool and use it daily without issue. If it 'didn't work' for you, it is almost certainly because the table wasn't Exploded first, as clearly stated in the instructions. The app extracts text entities, not blocks. Sarcastic and uninformed reviews like yours are exactly why independent developers stop offering free tools to the community. Since you find the product 'terrible,' I assume you won't be using it further. Best of luck with your manual data entry.
It offers an AI scan trial is not truly free
The whole process of scanning digital / text tables in Autocad is free. I have to pay for the AI scans so that is the reason you only get a few free trial scans with the AI feature. Try the version from the Appstore, you get 5 free then they are only 10p a scan after that. Nothing in the Pipe and structure table is picked up by the tool/add-in.
You have probably not exploded the table. The table extractor looks for individual items of text and cannot read a block or embedded item. If you send me a copy I will have a look at it for you. simon@streamtech.co.uk The AI scanner would do it as it would treat it as an image and extract the data.
