How it works:

1. Capture and Generate Construction Intelligence with Buildots: Buildots uses 360° site walk and drone footage to transform site activity into construction intelligence. By comparing real site conditions against the design model and schedule, it tracks progress, detects discrepancies, and surfaces emerging risks—including potential delays—so teams can take action early. Models are imported directly from BIM 360 or Forma Docs to support accurate, up-to-date comparisons.
2. Feed Insights into Forma Build: When issues like missing elements or deviations are found, Buildots automatically raises them in Forma Build. Each issue includes a link to the Buildots platform that provides imagery, location data, and context.
3. Drive Better Decisions and Smarter Planning: Not only does Buildots make it easy to track progress, spot issues, and anticipate delays—it also provides the foundation for truly performance-driven construction. You can analyze root causes, optimize plans to balance feasibility with goals, and act on clear priorities with team-wide visibility and accountability.

The app uses 3-legged authentication once the user clicks on the 'Send to Forma' option within the app.
