Description

The app exports surface analysis and corresponding properties to text by selecting the export analysis type and a surface with that type of analysis applied to it. Then, as needed it will import a selected text file (previously exported) and apply it to a new surface with the exported analysis information. It also has built in option to verify the style has been created correctly for viewing the analysis - alleviating the user from wondering why an analysis may not be appearing.

The app handles 5 different surface analysis types; Contour, Directional, Elevation, Slope, and Slope Arrows. Installing the app provides separate Import and Export commands for each analysis type, housed under one drop down ribbon button.

  • Very efficient and works great!

It gives you the ability to quickly copy an analysis to another drawing without going through a tedious hand entry routine. Plus you get a record in the form of an import/export file.

  • Works As expected - some improvements would be nice

Does work with TIN and GRID surfaces which is good. Be better if I could apply the analysis to multiple surfaces at once though. Instead of one by one. Very cumbersome. I have 35 grid surfaces to update!

  • Helps to stop duplicate tasks

Works great. Constantly setting up surface analysis gets old, and I always miss something. This definitely streamlined the whole process.
