This command can be used to set the Surface and Alignment references for a PIPE part.

The PIPE part is a critical component in AutoCAD® Civil 3D®. In projects that contain a large number of pipes, managing references efficiently is essential.

When a PIPE network is created without defining its Alignment or Surface references, each PIPE will lack these references. As a result, PIPE information cannot be displayed or interpreted correctly. Therefore, it is necessary to define an Alignment reference or a Surface reference for each PIPE to ensure accurate data representation.

In many cases, PIPE Alignment or Surface references may need to be updated. To simplify this process, the Surface referenced by a PIPE part can be set using a single command, eliminating the need to repeat the command for each PIPE individually.

Similarly, the Alignment referenced by a PIPE part can also be set or modified using a separate command.
