Search & place CAD models in Autodesk® Fusion®
Have you ever wished it were easier to find CAD models? We’ve got you! With the SnapEDA for Fusion, simply search for a part you need, either by its part number, or a keyword like 'USB connector'. From there, click one button to import the CAD model into Fusion.
The SnapEDA for Fusion app allows you to:
- Search millions of supplier CAD models
- Import CAD models without leaving Fusion
- View component datasheets
- Request CAD models (note: Samtec is providing free requests for its parts via this app).

It's sad that the macOS version is no longer going to be supported. This was a vital tool in the electronics workflow. The plug-in is now so broken it's unusable. PLEASE, reconsider supported the Mac!

It's a great plugin, but the macOS version is onely available on their site and is an older 2.0.5 version with all sort of issue making it unusable on macOS.
Is macOS no longer supported ? (only Win64 is avaiable here).
Hi Rodolphe, My name is Ron from Snapmagic, and we really appreciate your interest in the tool. Although we no longer plan to support the macOS version, we’re considering making a special exception for you, given the interest you’ve shown. We’ll reach out to you via email about it soon. Additionally, with our new Copilot, we’ll be integrating all that functionality moving forward. To focus on building a great product, we will no longer update the Fusion app. However, rest assured that everything will carry over to Copilot. If you’d like early access, let us know! For now, we’re planning to support Windows first. Thanks again!
Like this add-in, Easier to generate the package in 3D with any library which is missing a 3D package.
A great addin, reduces time importing components directly into schematic / pcb librarys.
