Toolpath is the first and only AI-powered Estimation and CAM Automation solution for shop owners, estimators, planners, and CNC programmers who want a practical solution to help them evaluate and respond to new machining jobs more quickly and confidently.

Toolpath - An essential tool for every business that machines parts

Being competitive sometimes means you need to reject RFQs. Reducing the time it takes to determine which jobs to quote and which to reject is critical. This is typically a time-consuming job, especially for CNC programmers when turnaround times for quotes are short and the need for accuracy is critical. Toolpath completely automates everything from the Design for Machining analysis, machine plan creation, and the estimation of machining costs. Best of all, if you decide to quote the job, and you win the work, you can use the machining plan, predetermined setups, and predefined machining operations to dramatically reduce the amount of time it takes to generate quality CNC programs and start cutting parts.

Toolpath is the first and only solution that does this. Here’s how.

  1. When you receive an RFQ, simply email or open a browser and upload the part (STEP) files to Toolpath. You can also push the files up directly from Autodesk® Fusion®.
  2. Toolpath analyzes each part and develops a complete machining plan with the optimal number of setups and the most efficient series of toolpath operations, all based on your tools - the tools in your machine(s), the tools in your holders, and the tools in your tool crib.
  3. Once each part has been analyzed you will receive an email with a link to a report that provides you with a) a machinability score - think of this as your go-no-go gage for quoting the job, b) the machining plan - think of this as a setup sheet for CNC programmers, c) a complete tool list, d) a material list, and e) a machining cost estimate broken down by setup, operation, and tool.

The best part, you haven’t had to spend one minute evaluating the job. You haven’t had to interrupt your estimators or CNC programmers. And, if you have Fusion, it gets even better. Once you open Toolpath and select your part, you are one button-click away from sending your setups and operations to Fusion where you can quickly edit toolpath parameters or just post each operation and send them to the shop floor to be run as soon as the machine(s) are available.

The Bottom Line: Toolpath equips you to be more responsive to your customers, prospects, and other stakeholders by helping you estimate and generate CNC programs more quickly and confidently.

  • A bright future

There is a path being layed out by Toolpath that will lead to robust automation workflows in the future. I'm already reaping the benefits when it comes to estimating and quoting, and taking parts all the way through machining is not far behind.

Make sure to keep us honest and keep pushing us to make Toolpath better.

  • A absolute must!!!

This is a absolute must if your a machinist and or use fusion. This app has saved me so much time and energy.  I'm not really that good a quoting, but this app has helped quote jobs quickly and spot on everyday.  Also it only takes about a 1 minute to reply with a quote.  It has also saved my butt on numerous occasions because  the ai showed me machining features that I didn't even notice. It Also has showed me better ways to attack a feature and saved me time bye just importing the toolpaths into fusion. The team is top notch with their customer service and are willing to go above and beyond when you need them. They also have a great deal of knowledge in their video series so you can get up and running quickly on your own time. Best software mod for my shop.

Elijah, I have great memories of you teaching me how to TIG weld when we did the customer success story at your shop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKr6APuKxrA

  • Great tool for quoting and design for manufacture.

Coming from you, that means a lot Devon!

  • The early capabilities are a game-changer

Toolpath's ability to generate a job-shop cost quote in seconds is great, but more impressive is seeing the CAM automation.  Toolpath's ability to "automatically" program a part is already helpful and, as it progresses, will change the way any fusion user should think about CAM programming.

Where we find it helpful at SMW: if we want a new fixture made, we can have it programmed (by toolpath) in a few minutes.  It lowers the hurdle and burden, helping free up our time for higher-value tasks.

In the sprit of transparency, when we saw what toolpath can do, we asked to get involved - that lead to us being a small investor and advisor.

    We Appreciate the support John.
