Saved me a lot of time. It took me a while to find the Make manu. It was literally the last one I checked. The user manual could have been updated. Fusion 360 has moved things around since it was written.

Design tab -> Utilities (furthest to the right) -> Make (scroll down) and Slice Data Export. I had only two options in the Make scroll down menu.

Thank you for the review. User manual updated and screenshot added. Hope this makes things clearer.

In a, most likely unrelated issue, SNIJLAB (a laser cutting company) is viewing the resulting DXF files as 10 times smaller, even if the DXF files look correct when later uploaded in Fusion 360 - extremely slowly I might add. Any freeware software uploads the tiny DXF files in an instant but Fusion 360 takes several minutes per file, making workflow impossibly slow. The only one that did not drop the ball on my DXF file adventure was Jerome Briot here.
