FMGears
Descrição
Autodesk® Fusion® add-in for creating Spur, Internal and Rack gears.
A single command is added to the Model Create menu from which Spur gears, internal gears and rack gears can be created.
Diametrical Pitch (in English units) or Module (in Metric units) as well as Pressure Angle, Number of Teeth, Root Fillet Radius and Gear Thickness (for extrusion) are common properties for all gear types.
Bore Hole Diameter can be specified for Spur gears; Outer Diameter for Internal gears and Height for Rack gears.
*NEW* The new version 1.1 adds a 'Clearance' property to provide additional backlash clearance.
Numerical values are displayed for pitch circles and heights and sketches for pitch alignment are also provided.

Hi Scott, I'm having trouble getting the add-on to run. Installed from .msi, the add-on is visible in Utilites-add-ins, but the “run” button does nothing, also no solid-create-fmgears in the menu. (Windows 11Pro, F360 v2.021286 x86_64, .net v.9)
* CONTACT ME BY EMAIL for a faster response and better communication. Reviews and replies require approval that takes time. If we're able to resolve problems, we can post the information here. * CHECK MY WEBSITE for latest versions and information. * FMGears requires Windows .NET 6. This should already be present in Windows 11, but it's good to make sure. See my website for details. (You have v9 which should be good enough.) * Any errors encountered by the add-in in response to "Run" should generate an error message. No error being reported implies that the add-in is not being called, which is certainly a mysterious problem. * This may be an installation issue. Installation is owned by Autodesk. You can always find the latest FMGears version and manual installation instructions on my website.
same problem that i faced too. Publisher please take this issue and provide a way to resolve it!
In the past I was able to use it without any problem. Then I updated it to V1.4 nd now I can not create spur gears. I tried almost all possibilities but the result is same. Hope you can fix it.
Same, and problems with internal
@Roman Please provide as much information as possible about the problem(s) encountered. All I'm hearing is "it doesn't work" and that gives me nothing. Steps taken, error messages, description of the result, software and OS versions; as much as you can relate to reproduce the problem would be helpful. Feel free to contact me by email with details.
I have totally uninstalled the fusion 360 with revo and reinstalled again. The problem remains :(
It only works with NET6, not with NET8 or NET9. I wasted a whole day on this.
My apologies for any confusion. FMGears v1.3 also required .NET 6, so that's not new. Version 1.4 was published in response to a Fusion update that broke FMGears. In the haste to publish the fix, the statement of the .NET 6 requirement was omitted on this app page. I have restored that and added a reference to my FMGears product/support page where you will find links to Microsoft for how to check which version(s) you have installed and how to download .NET 6. As always, feel free to contact me directly by email with issues. I tend to respond quite quickly and try to be as helpful as possible. That's easiest when you provide as much information as possible about software versions in use and the precise steps to reproduce the problem. Also consider using my (also free) GearDXF program available on my website. It's essentially the same software but as a full Windows application with GUI. Export gears (usually as 3D STEP files or 2D DXF files) and import into fusion. Website and email are linked in the top-right corner above.
