However there's issue on the tolerance. Whenever i put on 50mm, on the clash test it write 164.042 mm
This blends awesomely with our clash control workflow and is such a relief, considering the manual clash test creation alternative.
Congratulations!
Very useful tool. Thanks.
After exporting the CSV file, I've filled the cells according to the video, putting "yes" where I want a clash test. I've saved that file and then selected the "Specified in Matrix" option. When I press "Preview clash test" the plugin asks for the file: I select it but nothing happen. If I press "Create All Clash Tests" it says "0 clash tests created" because no preview ones are being generated.
Maybe some steps are missing in the matrix configuration that is not shown in the codigem video and that would be great to see explained, for instance, how to write on the excel file the desired clash type as well as its tolerance.
Can Anyone help on this?
Dear Joaquim, Thank you for your comment. Youtube video is outdated as starting version 1.2.0 released in January 2024, the new input system is in place. Kindly please follow the example in the second screenshot, check release notes (below) and if you are still facing challenges, please contact us at codigem.help@gmail.com Looking forward for your feedback! Regards, Codigem Team Version 1.2.0, 1/22/2024 Clash type varies depending on input in the matrix: Input format: T-NN T - clash type (H - Hard, HC - Hard (Conservative), C - Clearance, D-Duplicates) NN - tolerance in mm for example: H-50 = Hard type clash test using 50mm tolerance
Same problem here! Anybody knows how to solve it?
Dear Soulaima and Giovanni, Thank you reporting the potential bug. Kindly please share @ codigem.help@gmail.com nwf model containing search sets and appended dummy file to avoid any problems related to the confidentiality of the project. Looking forward for your email. Regards, Codigem Team
I tried two ways: 1-changing the file extension to *.txt and than opening with excel - it will ask how you want to open the file; 2- in excel going to "data", according to this website: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/csv-excel-sheets-do-not-open-in-columns/cc16bead-9efb-445e-b0ea-b1abf7e60e30 . Both worked for me.
I created the matrix using this add-ons then fill it as per the image and tried to import it back, nothing happened, the youtube video tutorial is old I think (before the update where you specify the clash type and tolerance in the matrix)
can you please advise or update the tutorial video to demonstrate how to import tests from the clash matrix file after we fill it?
When we bring in the clashes and preview them, if we select some clashes as 'clearance' and rest of them as 'hard', the latest one selected apples for all the clash tests. This should not be the case. Otherwise it's a 5-star.
Dear Rishi, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are happy to inform you that Clash Detection Matrix version 1.2.0 released on 22/01/2024 allows users to define clash test type and tolerance in the spreadsheet, which provides more flexibility in creating clash tests. Regards, Codigem Team

This plugin is very useful and save time but i hope to upgrade it to extract Clash type from clash matrix with Tolerance and change the excel format to be C-1/H-1 (Clash type(C=Clearance/H=Hard) - Tolerance) instead of tolerance only
Dear Khaled, Thank you for your valuable feedback.
