This product is not running as an app within AutoCAD and does not include a Ribbon panel. Elevated user privileges are required to install this product. This app is a custom installer. Restart of Windows is required after installation.
A full version is available with more properties available. The columns can show the version of the DWG file, up to 30 custom properties, title, subject, author, comments, created, hyperlink base, keywords, last saved by, last updated, revision number, DWG Editing Time, DWG Created By (can for example show AutoCAD 2017 or Inventor 2017), DWG ID (for example ACAD0001409 making it possible to see the difference between a drawing created in AutoCAD or Autodesk® AutoCAD® Architecture. ODA can show for a DWG created with the Open Design Alliance API), DWG Reg (Version in the registry, for example, 210 that stands for R21.0) and DWG Build (AutoCAD build number, for example, N5200x64).
30-day trial of the full version: DWG Columns for Explorer Trial
Purchase of the full version can be done here: DWG Columns for Explorer
Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
Great little App!
A simple solution for the end user to quickly monitor multiple DWG versions in a folder without opening a file or digging into the properties.
Good app. Thanks
Would love to see the properties work correctly for Autodesk Inventor DWG files. The properties randomly assign themselves to different Custom Values. Would also like to see a Column for Native Launcher application (AutoCAD DWG or True Inventor DWG)
Misleading "Free" button as this is only a 30 day trial. Product works well, but isn't worth the cost.
Reply to Bob: Maybe I should make a free one and a trial one separately or try to explain better that the free one includes a 30 day trial of more functionality?
@ Jimmy Bergmark: Yes, please include also some information what the free version lacks in comparison with the full one. Thank you!
Reply to Friedrich: Thanks for your comment. I've made update to better show what is available in the full app. It should show up after approval by Autodesk.
Verry good plugin for Explorer to see the version of a DWG-file. (Edit:) I hate it when a Free app becomes a trial!
