Hanger Generator 2 creates hangers automatically on MEP linear elements such as pipes, ducts, cable trays and conduits. You can personalize things such as hanger model, layout rules, measures, position offset, tiers, support bars, internal parts, to consider insulation, adaptation to element width, and more.

The application includes an auto-update functionality, which means that all MEP elements with hangers will remember the settings you defined; so when you modify or move a host, the hangers will be updated automatically according to your settings.

Currently includes four hanger models: Rectangular rail, Circular clamp, Rectangular strap and Clevis hanger.

You can create hangers on several elements on different levels at the same time. The hangers automatically detect structural elements to hang from, you can choose structural floors, structural framing or both.

At the main bar on top of the interface, there are several tools for improving your work experience and saving time, such as: remembering the last input values, turn on/ off auto-update, delete data or hangers of host elements, release hangers (this means that they become free hangers, not to be updated with their original host), identify in a 3D view the elements that have saved hanger data, clear information, and more.

The application runs on Autodesk® Revit® 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
