Zoom To Selection
Descrizione
With the ‘Zoom To Selection’ for Autodesk® Revit® add-in, you can now easily zoom the view to all selected elements.
Zooming to a selected element will aid in the efficiency of coordinating. Currently, there is no such command/function available for Revit.
However, there is a workaround by 'Manage-->Inquiry-->Select by ID'. But this is not a useful workflow, because it requires an additional step to first get the 'Element IDs of selection'.
What if you are working on a big project and you need to zoom to a selected object/element each time to ensure quality? In that case, the user would normally select an object in a heavily coordinated model and then choose the Section Box Command then manually zoom into their selection. This is not an effective workflow either!
Hello, can you please make it compatible with Revit 2026? Thanks.
Hey! Thanks for reaching out. Yep, Zoom to Selection now supports Revit 2026. Just grab the latest update. Let me know if you run into anything!
Hello friend, I have revit version 2025.4 installed and unfortunately the plugin cannot be installed. I hope it can be solved, greetings.
Thanks for letting me know. Zoom to Selection now supports Revit 2025.4 — just update to the latest version and you should be good to go. Feel free to reach out if you need any help. Cheers!
Hello, I've successfully installed and ran Zoom To on revit versions up to 2024, in keeping with what it says in the v6 details. However it refuses to appear on 2025.4, at least on my end. I am unsure how to update from v6 if that is the problem. Any advice to get it working in revit 2025.4 would be greatly appreciated, and thank you for your time
It seems that we can only download Version 6.0.0 - which does not support 2025 and 2026. Could you please update this very handy app?
Any chance for a '25 version? I'd pay!
Zoom to Selection now supports Revit 2025! 🎉 Just grab the latest version. And thanks a ton for your support offer — really appreciate it! 🙏
This is one of must addin for revit for me. It works on my personal compter. But I couldn't get it worked on my work computer.
Thanks so much for the kind words! 🙏 Glad to hear it's helping on your personal computer. For the work computer issue, it might be a permissions thing or an installation setting. Feel free to reach out — happy to help you get it working! 👍
It works. It's just sad that it has to be an add-in to Revit.
This app really helps with daily workflow, thumbs up to the developper.
We cannot deny the value of Revit. But archiles' heel seems a bit crap ((:...

Could you please update for Revit 2022?
such a great feature
Really good Add ons! Works great in Revit 2020. Can you please update this to work with 2022?
Yes please!
I really appreciate that you have developed a tool that does this function. It provides great convenience with assigning the shortcut. One of the most important tools missing in Revit. It is also admirable that such a service is free of charge. Thank you so much.
Honestly, this addon is really wonderful. It's simply and easy to use! It makes using Revit a little less irritating, and that makes it worth your while for sure!
Thanks... nice app... saving time is a must
ESTÁ GENIAL
You are Life Saver!
Really fills the gap for quick zooming.
I had to restart Revit before it would show up in keyboard shortcut list. . Works Well.
Custom Zoom factor
the little settings icon to the right of where you put in custom zoom saves the zoom factor.
Excellent Add it. Many thanks.
This is extremely helpful!!! Any way to create a two-key keyboard shortcut to use the "Zoom to Selection" button? would speed everything up even faster. Thanks!
1. Click the 'View' tab 2. Click 'User Interface' 3. Click 'Keyboard Shortcuts (KS)' 4. In the 'Search:' field type 'Zoom To Selection' 5. From the 'Assignments:' section choose 'Command = Zoom To Selection (Paths should be 'Add-Ins>BattleBIM | Zoom') 6. In the 'Press new keys:' field press your desired two-key shortcut (e.g. Ctrl + 2) Click 'Assign' Click 'OK' Hope the above will help. Thanks
Very useful add in, particularly whe used in conjuction with Navisworks Switchback. Thanks so much.
VITAL APP!!!
There is a built in feature in Revit to zoom-to-object.
Select a line/object in the schedule, go to the planview or 3-d view, click on the viewcube. Revit will zoom into the object. If the object is not in the view it will zoom to fit.
If you keep the obeject selected, click topview, it will zoom the object in top, click any view on the viewcube and it will zoom to the object in that view.
bye

A useful addition.
Hi Andrew, I have tested in Revit 2018 and 2019. It seems to be working fine. What version of Revit you are using? It would be great, if you could send me a screenshot/video of the bug? so that I can fixed it accordingly. Thanks much!
Great!! Thanks for confirming :)
