The Smart Transmit plugin lets you do both: either detach models for exchange or create new centrals. You can do it in batch by selecting multiple models from a folder. Establish specific options for purging the files, keeping specific views, cleaning work sets and more.

The app is available from Autodesk® Revit® 2021 to 2025.

Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
