Select the desired folder or file and the desired groups or users and see the effective permissions in a matrix within seconds.

There are filter options for groups and users if, for example, you only want to display active users or users assigned to the vault. It is also possible to only show users having the administrator role.

In the matrix, you can see the Read, Modify, Delete, and Download permissions, just like in Vault Professional. In the case of "permission denied" the permission is circled in red. In the case of "permission granted", the respective permission is circled in green.

If you click on a permission you will see a detailed resolution explaining why the permission is granted or denied. You can also see the respective ACL (Access Control List) and understand it directly.

You can also export the displayed matrix to an Excel file to share with others or archive.
