3DPDF Importer for Autodesk® 3ds Max®

3D PDF Importer for Autodesk® 3ds Max® allows users to seamlessly import 3D PDF models into the 3ds Max environment.

General Usage Instructions

  1. Download and install the app.
  2. Launch 3ds Max and load a model.
  3. There’s an ‘Add-ins’ tab on the ribbon bar . It contains the following ribbon buttons, as shown in the image below:  ‘Import 3DPDF' and 'About'.
  4. Click on the ‘Import’ button to import the model into 3ds Max.
  5. This will launch the Open file dialog in which you can specify the directory and filename of your choice.
  6. 'About Us' button displays information about the company, product, and license details.

Installation/Uninstallation

To work this plugin with 3ds Max, it is mandatory to install 3DPDFImporterFor3dsMax.msi 

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
