The program calculates the number of luminaires and can place them in a given room.

General Usage Instructions

To use this program:

1. To create a mesh for luminaires

2. Calculation of the number and location of fixtures for a given room.

3. For drawing luminaires, reference dimensions and illumination marker.

To measure the room, press the "<" button. The program will calculate the required number of lamps and fill in the number of columns and rows. You can set your own illumination of the room, the luminous flux of the lamp and choose your own image of the lamp (if you are not satisfied with the one offered by the program).

Installation/Uninstallation

To autoload the utility menu in AutoCAD, you must

copy files MakeGrid.dvb and Acad.lsp to the directory,

where is the acad.exe file

For example, to the directory: c:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2014\ 

Or 

AutoCAD requires Visual Basic to run the program "MakeGrid"

Installation:

1. Select the menu: Tools -> Macro -> Load Project ...

2. Open the file "MakeGrid.dvb"

3. Enable Macros

4. Select the menu: Tools -> Macro -> Macros ...

5. To create the button menu, select the "CreateToolbar" macro and click "Run"

6. A new menu will appear on the top left.

 

Uninstallation: 

If you did not register the VBA project to be loaded into Autocad startup, then uninstallation is not necessary. Just close AutoCAD and open it again.

Additional Information

The program does not collect any personal data and is absolutely safe to use.
