CAD Design Software
Adds a Point, Center Line or Cross mark to Closed Polygons or Circles by locating the exact center of the shape when picked.

General Usage Instructions

Basic Usage:

Select from 3 Mark Types to use:

1. POINT – Create an Autodesk® AutoCAD® ‘Point’ symbol to be placed at the center point of an object and select a layer in the Mark Layer list to place on or create a *New Layer* on the fly.

Tip: see the AutoCAD>PTYPE command to setup the scale and type to be used in the drawing, and PDMODE and PDSIZE commands for more control of the POINT symbol.

2. Center Line – Create a center line type symbol at the center point of an object. Select a layer in the Mark Layer list to place on or create a *New Layer* on the fly. Select a type in the Line Type list and in the Mark Size edit box, type the size/length to use.

3. Cross Mark – Create a cross mark type symbol at the center point of an object. Select a layer in the Mark Layer list to place on or create a *New Layer* on the fly. In the Mark Size edit box, type the size/length to use.

After selecting a Mark Type and after making size and layer out settings, set the selection control type to use in the Entity Selection Setting area.

If the By Layer radio button is picked, pick a current layer in the drawing to run on all the ‘supported’ entitles on the selected layers when the OK button is picked.

If the Selective radio buttons is selected and then press the OK button, a prompt appears.

PROMPT: Select objects: Pick or window the entities/objects to add the symbol to and press <Enter>.

Response: xx entity(ies) is/are marked.
