File Locking for Autodesk® BIM 360® provides automatic locking and unlocking for DWG and DWT files that are stored in BIM 360 when they are opened in Autodesk® AutoCAD®. File Locking for Autodesk® BIM 360® supports Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2020 and 2021-based products.
Note:
Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2020.2, Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2020.3, Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2020.4, Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2020.5, Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2021, Autodesk® AutoCAD 2022 already provide these automatic locking and unlocking capabilities.
Autodesk Desktop Connector must also be installed on your computer. The version needs to be 12.5.0.999 or later

What's New:
1. The default value of the CloudCollabModifiedOption system variable is set to 0
What's Fixed:
1. Missing XREF layers in drawings opened from BIM 360 after installing File Locking for Autodesk BIM 360. This results in settings on Xref layers not being retained including line type and color. Sometimes the "Unreconciled New Layers" notification is prompted unexpectedly.
2. It is fixed to enable an automatic silent uninstallation process of the previous version when installing a new version of the app.
Who needs this update?
User working with version 1.0.0.23 of File Locking for Autodesk BIM 360 on 2021 and 2020 release of AutoCAD and verticals.
AutoCAD 2022 supports file locking, so there's no need to install the app.
If you have AutoCAD 2021 ,2020 installed together with AutoCAD 2022 on the same machine, and wanted to enable file locking for AutoCAD 2021 or 2020, please make sure to install the version 2.2.0.
does this affect autocad 2021 on ACC as well or just if the project on BIM 360
