STRATUS is virtual design and construction software.

General Usage Instructions

STRATUS is tightly integrated into Autodessk® AutoCAD® and Autodesk® Revit®, with an installed add-in to publish models and import updates from the cloud back into the model.  Here's how it works...

BIM360 Admins can find the Stratus BIM 360 Integration in Account Administration under the “Apps” tab. Select to add to your BIM 360 Account.

1st time setup:

  1. open the STRATUS website at
  2. sign in using your Autodesk credentials
  3. click the user image in upper right corner and click My Account
  4. select the Companies tab
  5. click the Start Trial button in the Action column for the appropriate company account
  6. click the user image in upper right corner and click Refresh Permissions
  7. The STRATUS menu will appear with Projects, Models, etc.
  8. navigate to Admin > Company > Projects
  9. click Refresh Projects from BIM 360

In AutoCAD or Revit:

  1. locate the STRATUS menu and click the Publish button
  2. log in using your Autodesk credentials
  3. select the appropriate BIM 360 project and folder location for the model
  4. allow the publish to complete

In STRATUS website:

  1. sign in using your Autodesk credentials
  2. navigate to Models > Viewer
  3. select the project and model previously published
  4. start using the full STRATUS feature set to work with model

Desktop software downloads and documentation are accessed on the Help page after successful login to STRATUS by clicking the (?) icon in the upper right, next to the user image.  The software update log with features is also available on the Help page.
