At the early stages of the actuarial drafting process:

With Autodesk® AutoCAD® open and the application installed, the user executes the command from the AutoCAD command line or clicks the plugin.

They are prompted to select a PDF. With the PDF open, the user draws a rectangle capturing two things: first, the geometry they want to import, and second, the detail information for that geometry.

The detail information should include the detail name, detail number, and detail scale. After selecting the desired details and a page number on one page, the user clicks “Process Details.” The application window imports each required page. It then moves the user-selected content to a workspace before scaling based on the provided detail scale.

At this point, the user has scaled geometry in unique workspaces and can begin adjusting details to better suit their needs for whatever drawing goals they have.

 The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

• More robust integration with AutoCAD’s organizational tools such as Model Views, Viewports, and Sheetsets

Known Issue:

PDFs cannot include measuring tool scales from PDF applications unless the scale is 1” = 1”. In other words, a PDF application allowing the user to get a measurement off a PDF requires a scale set on that page. 

Known fix:

Select all pages in the PDF application and set the scale to “None” or “1” = 1””.
