Usage : Basic Workflow

1. Prepare Your Drawing

1.1 Auto Selection Mode: 

•   Ensure all frames are closed polylines (LWPOLYLINE or POLYLINE)
•   Add text objects for layout names near or within frames
•   All frames should be approximately the same size

1.2 Manual Selection Mode: 

•    Ensure all frames are closed polylines (LWPOLYLINE or POLYLINE)
•    Add text objects for layout names near or within frames
•    Free for all

2. Run the Command

•    LAYGEN 

3. Select Layout Names

•    Option A: Select text objects in your drawing (then reorder if needed)
•    Option B: Press Enter and type names manually (comma-separated)

4. Select Frames

•    Manual Mode: Select each frame polyline individually
•    Auto Mode: Select one sample frame, and the plugin finds all similar ones

5. Configure Stamps (Optional)

   Choose whether to add stamps to frames

   If yes, configure:

•      Image file path
•      Position (Top-Left, Top-Right, etc.)
•      Scale (0.1x to 5.0x)
•      Opacity (10% to 100%)

6. Wait for Completion

•    The plugin will create all layouts automatically
•    A summary message will confirm completion

Note: If the app is not loading, kindly restart the Autodesk® AutoCAD® and try again. 

 The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

## Known Limitations

- Only works with closed polylines (LWPOLYLINE and POLYLINE)

- Frames must be rectangular or similar shapes

- Text objects must be selectable (not in xrefs or blocks without attributes)

- Stamp images are embedded as raster images (not vector)

- Maximum layout name length: 255 characters
