ADJUST_MEASURES

ADJUST_MEASURES

Win32 and 64, English

INDI
Adjusts the length of lines and polylines to a more rounded value and fixes the joint between lines if the offset is very small.

General Usage Instructions

The ADJUST_MEADURES command is called and has the option to modify the positional adjustment or to immediately select the entities to be adjusted.

Positional: by default a value appears that depends on whether the units are metric or English, 0.001 and 0.0625 respectively. You can change this value to whatever you want. If a value of 0.1 is set, the maximum lengths will have a decimal, for example, or if 1 is set they will have an integer value, and if 2 is set they will be even lengths, etc.

Select: The entities that are selected are first OVERKILLED to eliminate overlapping lines, then they will be modified according to the defined positional adjustment.

The greatest application of this command is to adjust the walls of an architectural plan, if it has many decimals or bad joints.

Additional Information

The main working idea of this command is to take each line or polyline and adjust the coordinates of its start and end point or vertices, and automatically this makes its length and joins with other lines fixed.

Crooked lines can be fixed if the positional snap tolerance is sufficient to absorb the offset, i.e., if the snap tolerance is more than twice this offset.
