Workflow:

1. Start PRecover by typing PRECOVER at the AutoCAD command prompt.

2. The app will automatically scan for autosave and recovery files related to your AutoCAD projects.

3. Instantly view all found files in a clear, sortable list with information on file names, suggested drawing names, file size, and last modified date.

4. Use the search box to filter files by name or date if needed.

5. Select one or more files to recover and choose your preferred destination folder.

6. Click “Recover” to restore your selected files. PRecover automatically prevents accidental overwrites and confirms your recovery is successful.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. Make sure that the Autodesk product is completely closed when running the installer.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

The app is designed to be lightweight and does not require internet access or administrator rights.

All recovery operations are performed locally on your machine for privacy and security.

No data is collected or transmitted by the application.
