General Usage Instructions
- To generate a new timing pulley component, from the Autodesk® Fusion® design surface, select the "Solid" tab, select "Create," and choose the "Create GT Pulley" menu item.
- The "Create GT Pulley" dialog will appear, choose from the following options:
- Pulley Type: choose GT2 or GT3.
- Number of Teeth: enter a whole number for the number of teeth.
- Pulley Width: pulley width in mm.
- Hole Diameter: optional hole diameter in mm or 0.
- Flange Width: optional flange width in mm or 0.
- Computed Values:
- Pitch Diameter: top of tooth plus PLD dimension diameter.
- Base Diameter: bottom of tooth diameter.
- Overall Width: width of pulley plus optional flange width (x2).
- Click "OK" to generate the timing pulley.

Installation/Uninstallation
This ADD-IN is installed from the Fusion Autodesk App Store.
INSTALLATION:
Install the "Generate GT Timing Pulley" Add-In
- Within the Fusion app, on the design surface, click on the "Utilities" tab.
- Click the ADD-INS down arrow and choose the "Fusion App Store" menu item.
- Sign in if required
- In the Search Apps text field, search for "Generate GT Timing Pulley".
- Click on the "Generate GT Timing Pulley" app.
- Install the app from the downloaded installer and continue.
Enable the Add-In:
- Within the Fusion app, on the design surface, click on the "Utilities" tab and click on the "Add-Ins" tab.
- When the "Scripts and Add-Ins" dialog opens, click on the "Add-Ins" tab.
- Select the "GenerateGTTimingPulley" add-in, click the "Run" button if enabled and optionally select the "Run on Startup" checkbox.
UNINSTALLATION:
- Uninstall the "GenerateGTTimingPulley" add-in from the "Add or Remove Programs" applet in Windows.
Additional Information
Known Issues
Timeline Group may not appear: When inserting multiple pulley components, the timeline group for the new component may not appear.
Workaround: Save the design, close it, and reopen the design. The timeline groups will appear normally.
