Survey Point Manager appears as a floating palette in AutoCAD. Below are typical workflows:

1. Import Process

1. Click the Import button on the header.
2. Select your file (e.g., a CSV). The file name appears next to the button.
3. Format settings appear for that type. For CSV, SPM auto‑suggests a tag (e.g., P E N Z for 4 columns). You can choose your columns (P E N Z D to include descriptions).
4. Click Display. Points load into the Points List.
5. In the Points List, you can:
• Edit individual entries.
• Delete single points or Delete All.
• Undo/Redo any changes.
• Use the Point Counter to see the total.
6. When satisfied, click Export to save the edited list in any supported format.

2. Export & Insertion Workflows

Manual Pick

• Click Pick → select points → click Pick again to stop. Points appear in the list.
• Click Insert to draw points or Draw Table for a summary.

Auto Mode

• Click Auto → specify or pick a starting point → select points in drawing.
• Points are auto‑numbered and added to the list.
• Use Insert / Draw Table as above.

Smart Mode

1. Click Smart → set or pick a starting point.
2. Select objects (blocks/text). Confirm selection (e.g., “15 blocks”).
3. Choose Action for Selected Objects (e.g., Delete, Move to Hidden Layer, or Keep).
4. Click List Points → items appear in the list.
5. Insert or export points or a table.

Tracking & History

• Open the History palette to review all operations (imports, exports).

3. Settings

Open the Settings palette to configure:

• Point Options: layers, marker style, size, text height.
• Numbering: layer, font size, prefix.
• Table Settings: style, max rows, show title & custom title, column selection.
• History: enable/disable, record limit.

The installer that runs when you download this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will automatically begin installing the app/plug-in. Alternatively, you can double-click the downloaded installer to start the installation manually. Make sure the Autodesk product is completely closed before running the installer.

To uninstall this plug-in, first exit the Autodesk product if it is currently running. Then, rerun the installer and select the Uninstall button. Alternatively, open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall it as you would any other application.
