After the export, you will receive a JSON file that can be imported into your Autodesk® Revit® project using the P&ID Connector - Importer plugin.

• After installing the plugin, you will receive a new tab called “P&ID Exporter”.

• This has three buttons: “Export”, “Export selection”, and “Info”.

• While “Export” exports the entire drawing, you can use “Export selection” to export selected elements.

• Before the export begins, specify the storage path and the name of the JSON file to be exported.

• Once the export has been completed, you will find the exported file in the specified directory.

• The exported data contains all block references (from the drawing or the selection) that contain attributes. In this case, the attributes are treated like P&ID properties. Image and position data are also exported.

• For general information about the plugin, click on the “Info” button.

The installer that was running when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will begin installing the app/plug-in. OR simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plug-in. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, and simply run the installer again and select the “Uninstall” button. OR click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall it from your system as you would any other application.
