ECW Plugin for fast and convenient usage of raster images and catalogs.

General Usage Instructions

The plugin is loaded automatically into Autodesk® AutoCAD® application workspace. The menu is created by the installer and added as Ribbon-tab. Select it to get the tab activated.

All icons show a small help information just by touching with the mouse. This makes it easy to get familiar with the user interface of the ECWP Plugin for AutoCAD.

Select the tab ECWP Plugin for AutoCAD and click the upper left button ECW_LoadImageUrl. The dialog will be displayed.

When starting for the first time a sample link is predefined as a history item, ready to be used.

Make sure the URL is selected and press button "Insert selected Image".

The last dialog is presented, showing details about the image and a small description about the choices of "Automatic" or "Manual" positioning. Click on button Automatic and the dialog disappears. The Raster Layer is created and AutoCAD zooms to the extents of the image.

The whole user manual is available in the path "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\ECWPluginForAutoCAD.bundle\Contents\Documentation\ECWPluginForAutoCAD_Documentation.pdf" file.
