1. Type KZ_OABL or click the application icon from the ribbon.

2. Click the [Select Folder] button to select the folder containing the files you wish to process.

If you want to include subfolders in the selected folder, enable the [Include subfolders] checkbox.

3. Select a folder, and the .DWG files in the folder will appear in the list box.

You can also drag and drop files directly into the list box. 4.

4. Validate the items you want to change to ByLayer from the [Color ByLayer],[LineType ByLayer],[LineWeight ByLayer],[Transparency ByLayer] buttons.

The [All valid] button enables all items at once.

Click [All invalid] button to invalidate all items at once.

5. If you select a folder multiple times with the [Select Folder] button, a file will be added to the list each time. If you make a mistake in selecting a folder, click the “Clear the list box” button to clear the list, and then select the folder again.

The same goes for drag-and-drop.

6. After completing the settings, click the “Start ByLayer” button to begin processing.

If you start the process without setting a valid item, an error message will be displayed.

For files that have been processed, the [State] column in the list box will change from [untreated] to [processed].

7. When all files have been processed, the message “Finished” will be displayed. 

8. Click the “Close” button to close the form.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
