
LRailplan Railway Route Design System
Description
LRailplan is a professional railway route design software that provides the complete and structured project process, from roadway plane alignment to profile design. Axis alignment and profile management enable designers to manage complex schemes in an organized manner. The system allows for quick, seamless handovers among team members.
This system design leverages the advanced concept of unit alignment, overcomes the lack of flexibility in traditional tangent alignment, and adapts to route alignment under the constraints of various complex terrain and control elements. It enables the designer to work efficiently, with accuracy and flexibility, and take full advantage of computer screen alignment.
Transition curves can be either spiral curves or cubic parabolas. It supports high-precision calculation and design of high-speed railway alignment.
With the integrated architecture of existing railway reconstruction and new railway design, the system uses the existing railway track shape measurement point data (GPS/Beidou/TS) and automatically fits the alignment plane unit and profile gradient section in the graphic environment. The functions of spiral curve inversion, unit positioning, and fine adjustment of gradient point are used to accurately complete the rapid recovery of the existing railway plane and profile. The functions can also be used for the rapid fitting and reconstruction of the as-built route of the plane and grade of the subway.
The railway alignment, gradient and cross-section design processes are fully integrated. Because the system allows customization of cross-sectional parameters, there is flexibility in rapid roadbed design and engineering quantity calculation of personalized cross-sections, such as widening multi-lane and corrugated crown.
The system architecture is rooted in the separation of design and drawing. The system can be applied to different industries, different styles of personalized blueprints, as well as different languages of localized drawing output. If the styles are revised, designers only need to modify the style definitions and drawing convention files to solve the design output problem.
The quick point cloud prototype enables the solution research to quickly complete the interpolation calculation of the profiles and cross sections and deliver the initial scheme of the bridge and tunnel construction point, reducing “the monotonous physical expenditure” of the designer.
The mouse-over prompts during the interactive design process allow the user to avoid frequently zooming and dragging entity queries on the graphics screen. The unique non-command “refers and translates” instruction makes the system easy to use. The innovative term-input technology simplifies the multi-option step-by-step input, and the “numeric value + term” input intelligently enables the interactive input process in one step.
The unique mileage and point input mode feature eliminates the need for exploratory design or auxiliary steps and greatly improves the efficiency of interactive design. When an Autodesk® AutoCAD® internal command requests the input of point coordinates, you can also call LRailplan by entering the AutoLISP expression (axes point) to obtain the specified stake position of the axis.

Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
