Autodesk® Alias® Plugin to import 3D Points in a CSV (Comma Separated Value) file. 

CMM (coordinate measuring machines) are used in many automotive studios, to make cross-section data of physical models. These are stored as raw x,y,z values and can be exported as a CSV file. 

Currently, there is no easy method to transfer such data into Alias. Although Alias can import CSV file as a point cloud, it is not very easy to visualize sparse data. The plug-in will import the points and connect them using polylines. By choosing an angle , the resulting polylines can be broken at the retract steps or sudden change in curvature.

    Are you able to install the plugin? Please let me know the problem. The utility can open comma separated values, say from a CMM machine or even a NC code.
