ProtoTech's DWG/DXF Compare AutoCAD® - Trial
Win32 and 64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
- Launch AutoCAD.
- A new tab named “DWG/DXF Compare” will be created in the ribbon bar. The ribbon bar is at the top of the application.
- Click the “Compare” button from the Tool. It will show you a Comparison palette.
- There are 2 ways to compare drawing files:
A. Browse and compare

- Click “Browse File 1” for selecting the original file for comparison.
- Click “Browse File 2” for selecting the changed version of the file.
- Click “Comparison Folder” for selecting the path at which the result of the comparison will be stored.
- Click the “Compare” button to start the comparison, “Cancel” otherwise.
B. Compare existing files.

- You can also compare already opened files.
- Choose “Select Existing files” and you will see a list of open documents.
- Select any 2 documents and hit the compare button.

Installation/Uninstallation
Install:
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store, will start installing the app/plug-in.
OR
Simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
Uninstall:
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it. Simply rerun the installer and select the "Uninstall" button.
OR
You can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8.1/10), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
