Batchlayer – Custom Layer Views and ExportWin32 and 64, English
General Usage Instructions
Use the Batch Layer Operation function to setup a layer groups. These functions allow the end user to select layers and group them creating a batch layer. When the layers become a group, it allows the end user to easily turn on and turn off all other layers in the group, which is useful for viewing final layer output prior to export or photo-plot output, etc. Once a Group is activated, Use the Extracts Visible Artwork to a Flattened DWG function to create a single DWG file of the ‘visible’ artwork (layers) and this will also explode any blocks in the output (not in current drawing), hence the flatten.
Use the Extracts Multiple Views to File(s) function to export the Groups as DWG files either as multiple files that contain each Group’s layers or as a single DWG of single or multiple Groups and individual layers. See the full documentation help for each function below or press F1 when hovering over Plug-Ins>CDS App>BATCHLAYER Ribbon icon to open the help document.
