DUPLICATE_LAYER

Set of Autolisp routines to duplicate a layer of the selected object or of a current layer. The program creates a new layer with the same properties as the layer of the selected object, then asks for a new name in the dialog window and makes the new layer current. In the dialog window, it pastes the old name in case the user wants, for example, to set a similar name but with different suffix or prefix.
Command: DUPLICATELAYER
The function creates a new layer with the same properties as the layer of the selected object
Command: DUPLICATELAYERCURRENT
Above but creates a new layer with the same properties as the current layer.
Command aliases:
The application comes with long command names listed above. To create your own short aliases for these commands, go to ACAD.PGP file or Menu Manage->Customization->Edit aliases->Edit Aliases. Command aliases used in video example: DUL for DUPLICATE LAYER, DULC for DUPLICATELAYERCURRENT,

Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system
