How to Use the DWG/DXF Compare Plugin

1. Launch AutoCAD.
   A new tab named “DWG/DXF Compare” will appear in the ribbon bar (located at the top of the application).

2. Open the Comparison Tool.
   Click the “Compare” button from the DWG/DXF Compare tab. This will open the Comparison Palette.

3. Choose a Comparison Method.
   You can compare drawing files in two ways:
   A. Browse and Compare

   • Click “Browse File 1” to select the original file for comparison.

   • Click “Browse File 2” to select the modified version of the file.

   • Click “Comparison Folder” to select the folder where the comparison results will be saved.

   • Click “Compare” to start the comparison, or “Cancel” to exit.

   B. Compare Existing Files

   • Select “Choose Existing Files” to see a list of currently open drawings.

   • Pick any two documents from the list.

   • Click “Compare” to begin the comparison.

Install:
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store, will start installing the app/plug-in.
                                                             OR
Simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

Uninstall:
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it. Simply rerun the installer and select the "Uninstall" button.
                                                                              OR 
You can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8.1/10), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
