DwgText (a descendant to Excellink) exports selected drawing texts and their properties. Exported data can be modified in Excel (or in a text file) and then you can re-import it back into the Autodesk® AutoCAD® DWG drawing. You can use DwgText for creating BOMs, text schedules, or for batch editing of drawing texts and their visual properties.
DwgText supports Texts, MTexts, Block references (attributes, incl.dynamic), Multileaders, Tables, Attribute definitions and Document properties (including custom properties) plus all their visual properties.

Can it link the cad file to excel of vise versa? Example: if i add another attribute block say room number it automatically updates the excel sheet then insert link to autocad table?
Attribute lassen sich wunderbar direkt nach Excel exportieren, dort bearbeiten und wieder in CAD zurück lesen.
Meine alte Arbeitsweise über ATTOUT und ATTIN ist endlich passé
Hi Folks, When is the 2018 flavour being released? as the 2017 version is not working on my machine with AutoCAD 2018... Cheers Mike
A good option to work with all or selected Block attributes in an Excel file in one sheet itself.
I like the batch editing of drawing texts - good for title blocks
Works well for export and import of text and attribute information to and from Excel. Accelerated and simplified attribute and text editing. Support from CADstudio has been excellent as well.
Very good addon for updating block attributes.
