1. Install the BuildingsAI DataExchange for BuildingsAI plugin from the Autodesk store.
2. Open your AutoCAD Architecture drawing and ensure it is ready for data extraction.
3. Use the plugin to export your building data, including dimensions and meta-properties, into JSON format.
4. Ensure you have sufficient access and permissions to the folder where the exported JSON files will be saved.
5. For projects with multiple xrefs, ensure all referenced files are properly loaded to allow seamless data extraction.
6. After installation, you may need to restart AutoCAD Architecture or your computer to ensure the plugin functions correctly.
7. Important: While exporting data, do not close or minimize AutoCAD Architecture to prevent any interruptions in the export process.

The installer that run when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
