ARCVECT – Arc, PolyArc and Circle VectorizerWin32 and 64, English
General Usage Instructions
To run the app, type ARCVECT and press <Enter> or pick the ARCVECT icon from the Plug-ins Ribbon Tab (or Add-ins tab).
There are 2 edit boxes to set the lengths for either Circles or Arcs / Polyline Arcs.
Depending on the type of object you want to convert, set the appropriate value for each. You may set both values if desired to run on both types of objects.
Once values are set, pick the OK button and a PROMPT Select Polylines Circles and Arcs to be Vectorized
Pick the objects, Window objects and then press the <Enter> key when done selecting (may also type "all" and <Enter>).
Response appears indicating objects that were converted:
Revised xx Polyline(s), xx Arc(s), and xx Circle(s).
NOTICE: The command will convert the objects and will not preserve the original. If experimenting with values, we recommend either making copies of the objects or using the UNDO command and set a Mark. This will allow you to run the ArcVect command and apply to the objects. If the length is not as desired, use the UNDO>Back to return to the Mark made before running.
Settings and Options:
Segment Length for Circles
Set the length in measurement values (depending on your current AutoCAD® measurement units) to create the lengths as seen in the below diagram. The segment length is automatically adjusted to create an integral number of segments of identical length.
Segment Length for Arcs
Set the length in measurement values (depending on your current AutoCAD measurement units) to create the lengths as seen in the below diagram. The segment length is automatically adjusted to create an integral number of segments of identical length.
