Filters selected objects by desired type / layer or multiple types or layers.

General Usage Instructions

Command: QSELECTTYPE
This function allows the user to filter selected objects by picking desired object types from a list in the popup dialog window. Names on the list are sorted alphabetically. To apply a filter to an entire drawing select the appropriate option in "Apply to" section. To pick multiple types hold the Ctrl button and left click on the desired object types.

Command: QSELECTLAYER
As above but selects objects on chosen layers.

Command aliases:
The application comes with the long command names listed above. To create your own short aliases for these commands, go to ACAD.PGP file or Menu Manage->Customization->Edit aliases->Edit Aliases. Command aliases used in video-example: QST for QSELECTTYPE, QSL for QSELECTLAYER

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
