Cadgen Automatic Polyline Router

Cadgen Automatic Polyline Router

Win32 and 64, English

Cadgen Software LLC
Automatic polyline layout and routing for a selection of blocks and intersecting polylines, arcs, splines, and lines.

General Usage Instructions

Upon the first run of any command in the application, the license activation dialog will open and prompt to the user the enter a license activation key or activate a 30 day trial.

Use the 'cgaprlicense' command to open the license activation window to check license status or enter an activation code at any time.

To reroute polylines, run the 'cgautorouteplines' command. The editor will prompt the user to select block references and lines, arcs, splines, and polylines that may intersect block reference bounds on each end. Alternatively, the command will use the existing selection set of entities if it has been defined prior to running the command.

Segments that intersect blocks in the selection set at both ends are routed in regards to the other entities in the selection set. All other block references and segments that are not selected are ignored.

Polylines are routed in such a way to minimize crossing other segments and other block references in the selection set. Intersections around block references are distributed as evenly as possible where there may be more than one segment intersection.

Existing properties of the replaced segments like color, layer, linetype, linetype scale and lineweight are applied to the new polylines. New polylines are also trimmed to the edge of the intersecting block references.
