SPCAD is a useful aid for the general workflow of engineers, geospatial professionals, architects, town planners, and manufacturers.

General Usage Instructions

Our comprehensive software package offers an extensive collection of over 100 meticulously designed tools that cater to the complex demands of various industries, notably including the Geospatial sector, urban developers, and engineering professionals. With a strong emphasis on data interoperability, our software allows users to seamlessly import and export crucial geospatial file formats, including shapefile, KML, KMZ, txt, and LAS, ensuring smooth data integration.

Additionally, our software facilitates the intricate process of transforming point data coordinates, enabling users to insert location-based QR codes into drawings and utilize a location-based callout tool that dynamically displays coordinates at the user's requested place on the drawing.

Our software also provides sets of tools that are valuable for spatial analysis, independent of the field, such as the shrinkwrap tool and the ability to draw convex hulls.

Moreover, for Geo-spatial experts, our software provides the unique feature of calling Bing Maps directly into the drawing environment, while allowing for a user-defined coordinate system to ensure seamless integration with their existing spatial data.

These capabilities, coupled with the software's ability to conduct comprehensive 3D surface assessments and create detailed TIN and contour analyses, provide a powerful suite of tools for spatial analysis and documentation.

Furthermore, our tools offer a streamlined platform for the insertion of intricate CAD map elements and the efficient generation of map atlases through data-driven pages.

For urban developers, our intuitive tools expedite the subdivision of land parcels, offering multiple precision-driven methods for seamless division, along with the capability to include annotations and simplified exports to various formats like KML. By seamlessly integrating into the existing workflows of Geospatial professionals and engineers, our software empowers users to enhance their efficiency and precision in a diverse range of specialized tasks, thereby fostering innovation and progress within their respective fields.

March 04, 2024 In the latest version of SPCAD, we have addressed several bugs related to workflows and the inadvertent inclusion of special characters in annotations. Additionally, the new version features the inclusion of the Spanish language. All graphical user interfaces (GUIs) have been updated, now incorporating Spanish captions. Moreover, the release introduces several new tools to enhance the user experience: 1. Elevate Points from TIN: This tool allows users to elevate points from a Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN), providing advanced functionality for terrain modeling. 2. Import GeoJSON: Users can now seamlessly import GeoJSON files, facilitating the integration of geographic data into the SPCAD platform. 3. Export GeoJSON: This tool enables users to export data in GeoJSON format, enhancing interoperability with other geographic information systems. 4. Quick LOT Subdivision: Users can perform rapid LOT subdivision based on specified criteria, including area, number of parcels, and percentage area. 5. Create Layer from Code: This feature allows for the creation of layers based on codes associated with points imported from CSV files. 6. Cut/Fill Analysis: The Cut/Fill analysis tool provides insights into earthwork volumes, assisting in project planning and design. 7. Import CSV and project lat/long as X/Y: Project latitude and longitude data to any coordinate system before importing CSV data into the drawing. 8.
