Option A – Connect to Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)

1. In the Frame dashboard, open your profile and copy the Client ID provided.
2. Sign in to ACC with an account that has Project or Account Admin permissions.
3. In Account Admin, go to Settings → Integrations.
4. Click Add Integration, search for Frame, and paste your Client ID.
5. Approve the requested scopes. ACC now recognizes Frame as an authorized integration.
6. In Frame, click Add model → Add from ACC and sign in with your Autodesk credentials.
7. Browse Hub → Project → Folder to locate your models.
8. Open a model in the viewer; use orbit, isolate/hide, section box, and the properties panel.
9. Enable syncing or issue webhooks from the model drawer. Frame queues the import and keeps versions aligned with ACC updates.
10. Preview results, or create a Power BI report with one of our custom templates.
11. Use the chatbot to ask questions.
12. Use the Excel integration to open the BIM model data directly in Excel:
    1. View and filter model properties.
    2. Edit values directly in Excel (e.g., classifications, metadata corrections).
    3. Save and re-export updated data back to Frame for consistency

Option B – Work with Local Files (No ACC Required)

1. In Frame, click Upload and select a supported file (e.g., IFC, RVT, NWD).
2. Once uploaded, open the model to view and inspect properties.
3. Create a report with Power BI and our custom templates.
4. Use the chatbot to query model data or generate scope of work drafts from the property sheets.
5. Use the Excel integration to open the BIM model data directly in Excel:
   1. View and filter model properties.
   2. Edit values directly in Excel (e.g., classifications, metadata corrections).
   3. Save and re-export updated data back to Frame for consistency.

• Very large or complex models may experience slow performance, and in rare cases, may not complete loading depending on device resources.
• Initial report generation on first load can take longer while metadata is indexed.
• Access to ACC content is limited by your project permissions; some folders/files may be hidden by policy.
• Issue reports require ACC projects; local uploads do not include ACC Issue data.
• Custom parameters with unusual encodings may appear under "Other" until mapped.
• Safari/WebKit may show reduced performance with extremely large point/mesh counts.
