Getting Started

In the Autodesk Construction Cloud®, Account Administrators will find the app under the "Apps" tab. Select "Install" to add it to your account.

• Go to the Files area within ACC, and create a project folder where Timescapes images and videos will be sent to. Be sure to grant your team write permissions to this new folder.
• Log in to Timescapes
• Open Timescapes and navigate to the Admin area for the project you wish to connect to Autodesk. You will be able to connect to Autodesk from the Integrations area.
• When you click "Connect" you will first have to sign into your Autodesk account before the integration can be enabled.

Creating Issues

• Once you have selected an image to be sent to Autodesk, select the "Create Issue in Autodesk" option from the Share menu in Timescapes.
• The first time you use this feature, you will need to sign in to your Autodesk account.
• When creating an Issue from Timescapes, you will be able to specify an Issue Type, Issue Title, and Issue Description.
• Clicking "Create Issue" will create the issue in Autodesk.

Sending images & Timelapse Videos

• To set up an automatic periodic upload of either images or timelapse videos to Autodesk, select the Scheduled Send option from the Share menu in Timescapes.
• When setting up the Scheduled Send, make sure to choose the "Autodesk" option from the "Send via" dropdown.
• All images and timelapse videos will be sent to the Autodesk folder selected during the integration setup.

BIM Overlay

• To use the BIM overlay in Timescapes, you will first need to upload a model file via the 3D Model navigation option.
• Once a model has been uploaded, it will be automatically loaded and displayed via Autodesk Forge.
• The model will need to be aligned to the Timescapes images before it can be used for progress tracking and comparisons.
