Leica Captivate can easily connect to Autodesk® BIM 360® docs, to have access to all the documentation and design data needed for the staking out of design elements or measuring of the as-built elements.

To do this, just access the BIM 360 Docs tool within the Settings > Tools menu or tap on the Connections bubble ("@"), in the Leica Captivate Home panel, to trigger the authentication of the user and the authorization for setting up the connection. This will open an Internet browser, where the user can enter his credentials.

Once this process is finished, the user can access BIM 360 docs tool and execute the Download and upload functionalities. Download functionality will allow the user to browse through his BIM 360 Docs folders, select the files to download, and execute the downloads to store those files in your instrument running Leica Captivate.

Upload will allow the user to browse through the data stored in his device running Leica Captivate, select the files to upload, and select the location within BIM 360 Docs where to store those files.

Instructions for Adding Leica Captivate to a BIM 360 Account:

BIM360 Admins can find the Leica Captivate BIM 360 Integration in Account Administration under the “Apps” tab. Select to add to your BIM 360 Account.

Your Leica Captivate BIM 360 Integration is now active in BIM 360.
