Instructions for Adding Allied - FabricationConnected to an Autodesk® BIM 360® / Autodesk Construction Cloud® Account:
ACC/BIM 360 Admins can find the Allied - FabricationConnected BIM 360 Integration in Account Administration under the “Apps” tab. Select to add to your BIM 360 Account. Your Allied - FabricationConnected BIM 360 Integration is now active in BIM 360.
FABRICATIONCONNECTED USER GUIDE
- Sign into https://fabricationconnected.alliedbim.com/ using the ACC link with ACC credentials. (You can also create an account without ACC credentials for Machine use purposes).
- In the Home View screen go to “Create Project” to the Spool Module.
- Create a Project with the corresponding information.
- Look for the Source Model inside the “Model” tab. (It is required that the model should be published as a Cloud Model from Autodesk® Revit®).
- Once the model is uploaded, you can bring the assemblies and package information from RVT using the Fabrication Tools add-in.
- You can create assemblies with the model in the viewer: Go to the assembly tab > Select the parts in the model you want to Assemble > Press (+) symbol > Add name > Add color > Save.
- You can create Packages with the model in the viewer: Select one or several assemblies > Press Create Package symbol > Create Package name > Create.
- Assemblies:
Edit/Delete > Press the pencil for the ones created on the web.
Isolate view > press the Check box and isolate the assemblies selected.
Tag > use the tag symbol, select the parameters and tag the assemblies in the viewer.
Turn colors and change them> use the color wheel to activate or deactivate it.
Create Packages> Select one or several assemblies and press the Package symbol.
Send to Fabricate > Select one or several Assemblies to create machine Jobs for Machine control.
- Packages:
You can edit/ delete> Press the pencil for the ones created on the web.

Duplicate > Use the duplicate symbol to duplicate the Package.
